MossBoss is the vision of Jay Miers, founder and creative director.

For more than 7 years, Jay has designed and overseen the delivery of over 100 landscapes — from intimate retreats to expansive properties. His strength lies in blending creative design with practical knowledge of construction, shaping spaces that feel natural, resilient, and deeply connected to place.

Every project begins directly with Jay. He leads the early consultations, guides the design process, and stays involved to ensure the vision holds true. When it comes time to build, his business partner Jamie manages construction on the ground — coordinating trades, overseeing details, and bringing the design into form with precision.

This approach keeps things personal. You work with the founder at the start, and you know who will be on site as your landscape takes shape. Between design leadership and hands-on management, every project is cared for end to end.
