Seacourt Avenue

Traditional lands of the Awabakal people

The Seacourt project transformed a run-down front yard into a layered coastal garden with resilience at its core. The brief was to create a landscape that could endure salt spray, wind, and exposure, while giving the property new depth and presence from the street.

Our approach blended hardy coastal natives with select exotics, chosen for their ability to thrive in tough conditions while bringing contrast, texture, and colour. The planting was anchored by a restrained material palette of corten, sandstone, and recycled sleepers, grounding the garden with warmth and permanence.

The result is a low-maintenance, natural blend of coastal and exotic species that frames the home with subtle street presence, while offering a calm retreat that will only strengthen and mature with time.
